Bill's Exeter Restaurant

32-33 Gandy St, Exeter EX4 3LS, UK – 01392 259227

Polite staff, willing to talk to the children. Which helps with their behaviour. Two course lunch menu, good value. Rarebit was a little doughy but sauce was good. Minute steak cooked well, and fries crispy. Mac cheese popular with kids. Floor uneven, difficult for kids to pull chair in.

Really polite helpful staff! It was my 4 yr olds first day wearing glasses and they were happy to oblige in helping bribe him. They brought a giant chocolate coin to help :). They were also really accommodating with food for our son. Our food was delicious too with a wide variety on the menu but by far the staff make that place a treasure.

Unit 8, Alphington Park, Marsh Barton Trading Estate, Ashton Road, Exeter EX2 8AA, UK – 01392 427541

Thank you Nicole! I decided to take my Dad for an impromptu lunch after he had to spend a long morning at the hospital (*think pain and discomfort and you can imagine why I thought he deserved a lunch treat!). The food was delicious, and the setting felt nice and Tex-Mex and authentic (lots of nice seating options including booth type seats). But what made the experience extra SPECIAL for us was our waitress, Nicole. I don't think it's coincidental that Nicole is from the U.S.A. We were treated to that extra special level of service that you can always expect when you dine in any American restaurant. True service with a smile, absolutely attentive without being obtrusive, super friendly, and well, we almost felt like we are on holiday in California rather in Exeter. We would recommend Chiquito but more importantly we would HIGHLY recommend asking to be sat on one of Nicole's tables. And please remember to tip her well as unlike so many British waiting staff, she truly earns and deserves it. None of that 'meh!'/'what time do I clock off?' attitude that we too often experience when we dine out, that leave us thinking, did this person actually earn/deserve a gratuity? I think most of us Brits would be happy to tip all waiting staff well if they could learn some of Nicole's skills and how to replicate her charm and demeanour. Perhaps Chiquito could try cloning her? She's worth her weight in gold for sure. If I had a restaurant of my own I would headhunt her to be in charge of training all staff! Thank you again Nicole for making our special lunch even more special! We will hope to see you again soon! And we WILL of course be checking that you are working first and asking to be sat in your area!

Chiquito Exeter fab place. Easy to get to, Free car park, great atmosphere , great choice of food, prices reasonable but even better with a food discount card as you get 50% off. We were served by a fantastic lady called Nicole D. So lovely, very professional, her customer service is up there with the best I've ever had. She made the evening so easy, her service was flawless. Highly recommend Chiquito Exeter.

Jasmine Thai Restaurant

153 Fore St, Exeter EX4 3AT, UK – 01392 689988

Went here with my girlfriend for a lovely meal. I'm vegan whereas she is not and normally we have to settle for either her eating vegan at a vegan place or me eating a sub-standard vegan option. This place catered perfectly for both. We both went for pad Thai noodles (would definitely recommend) and the food was delicious! The service was nice and friendly too! They even had a vegan wine choice which was pleasing. Would recommend to anyone visiting exeter for a lovely meal out.

A pleasant welcome and good food. Bring your own good company and you are all set to enjoy yourselves.
