Best bookstore on area, able to get authors unavailable elsewhere

Very big book shop, with a good vibe and plenty of book selection. Also has a number of comfortable seats to get lost in a good book

Waterstones

Fantastic store! Very modern with good lighting. The cafe is super good and the wife is decent. Only down side is the Sci fi/fantasy section could be bigger...but I'm a massive fan of fantasy and probably will never be satisfied.

There is a great selection of books and staff were extremely helpful and generally lovely. The cafe upstairs is so worth a visit! Best cafe in Exeter in our opinion. We go every week and are never disappointed, very good value cakes/cream tea and amazing sandwiches (Brie, bacon and cranberry particularly recommended).

Oxfam Bookshop

Been coming here for years. Always a good selection of academic books, particularly history, politics and philosophy. Staff always very helpful, friendly and polite. Great for visitors to Exeter for local books too.
