Red Coat Guided Tours

Exeter Visitor Information & Tickets, Dixs Field, Exeter EX1 1JJ, UK – 01392 265203

We took part in 2 tours (ghosts and Saxons) and they were absolutely amazing. Both guides were engaging and charming! It's lovely that these people devote their time to tourists.

We did the Monday medieval tour with Richard and it was one of the best walking tours I’ve done!! The 90 minutes flew by and we came away with some facinating insight into the city during the medieval period. Also got some great shots on the camera. A must do!!

Corporate Entertainment

Skirmish Paintball Exeter

Stoke Woods, Pennsylvania Rd, Exeter EX4 5BW, UK – 01548 580025

Loads of different activities here. Not just paintball. There are laser type games, airsoft games, and many other games. The land area they have is huge, so no risk of running out of play areas. I would recommend trying this, it's so much fun for everyone. They have professionals that play often. And also amateurs that have never played before. So it definitely appeals to a wide variety of people.

Always a great day out. Large variety of activities to chose from, paintball, airport, lazer tag, archery and more! Staff are always superb and marshals never biased. Cracking day out for all the family. Highly recommend if you've never been!

Saltcity Surf Shop

134 Fore St, City Centre, Exeter EX4 3AN, UK – 01392 424015

AS Watersports

1 Terracina Court, Haven Road, Exeter EX2 8DP, UK – 01392 219600

We were a family of four wanting to hire a canoe to go up to the double locks, we had hired two canoes over the phone by mistake instead of one four man canoe but they sorted us out and reduced our hiring costs on arrival at their shop. I said we might be 30 minutes late back depending on how quick we got served at the Double Locks, they said no problem. My wife had finished her water bottle before we got in the canoe and asked them to fill it up from their taps again no problem. They couldn't have been more helpful.

Great shop. All staff helpful and keen. Rang other shops in south with conflicting advice with no chance to try before buy which is vital as i nearly ordered boat i would have regretted. Many thanks

Local Parks & Gardens

Pinces Gardens

Pinces Rd, Exeter EX2 9EN, UK – 01392 262630

Beautiful gardens and well kept apart from the litter. Such a shame people have so little respect for our public spaces. Still this is one of Exeter's lesser known gems. Definitely worth a visit if you are in St Thomas. The wisteria covered walk is a must see.

Lovely afternoon. The wisterias were beautiful. Their scent filled the air. Recommend a visit.

Bury Meadow Park

New N Rd, St Davids, Exeter EX4 4HH, UK – 01392 262630

Best place in Exeter to take young children and well-behaved dogs, great for casual picnicking, the play area is really well designed and challenging for older kids while the smaller kids can go in the little fenced-off playground. Fab!

Really enjoyed the shade from the trees and just laying in the grass. But the trampoline was awesome!

Southernhay Gardens

22 Southernhay W, Exeter EX1 1PJ, UK – 01392 262630
